Larry Chinn has worked for over 3 decades of experience working in the bay area including extended tenures with Al Molina, Margie Baker and Jules Broussard. Larry has also worked with Marcus Shelby, Tiffany Austin, Kellye Gray, Frank Wess, Larry Schneider, Madeline Eastman, Nate Pruitt, John Handy, Pharoah Saunders, Mark Murphy, Harvie S, Akira Tana, Peppe Merolla, Sylvia Cuenca, Denise Perrier, Melissa Morgan, Vince Lateano and Richie Cole. performing in locales ranging from neighborhood pubs, to luxury hotels and this area’s premier jazz venues like Yoshi’s, Pearl’s, and the Monterey Jazz Festival. Larry studied music at the Berklee College of Music and privately with Peter Horvath, Don Haas, Mark Levine & Dick Hindman.
